NESRE Project Overview
Prairie Green Renewable Energy Inc (“PGRE”) is focused on delivering shareholder value from the sustainable development of Proposed Renewable Fuels Facilities in Western Canada. The first proposed facility is the Hudson Bay NESRE Ethanol Project (the NESRE Project”), located in North Eastern Saskatchewan
The Prairie Green Renewable Energy Inc NESRE Project is an exciting and unique “state of the art / new generation” 50.3 MGY (Million Gallon Year) /190 MLY (Million Liter Year) based on barley – peas feedstock and / or 55.8 MGY (211 MLY) based on barley only feedstock, dry mill ethanol plant . This plant is classified as bordering on the latest USA Ethanol Plant Definition of a “Near Term Future Plant” where HP-DDGS (High Protein Distilled Dried Grain Solubles) and ethanol are the major cash revenue streams. Utilizing barley and peas as the feedstock allows this plant to produce a “value added” high protein DDGS co-product which the plant will market under the trade name Prairie Gold HyProtein Meal®. The Prairie Gold HyProtein Meal® will be equivalent in nutrient value to USA Soya Meal which commands a strong demand and high value from the swine industry in Canada and the USA. The plant is designed to utilize feed wheat, corn, barley and / or combination of barley and peas as the feedstock; however the operation strategy is to focus on barley and peas as the feedstock due to availability and long term pricing stability of these two feedstock’s within the plant location area. The NRSRE grain based process design is being provided by Katzen International Inc of Cincinnati, Ohio. Katzen have provided the process design for a number of barley ethanol plants in Europe.
