About Us

Prairie Green Renewable Energy Inc (“PGRE”) is focused on delivering shareholder value from the sustainable development of Proposed Renewable Fuels Facilities in Western Canada. The first proposed facility is the Hudson Bay NESRE Ethanol Project (the NESRE Project”), located in North Eastern Saskatchewan

The NESRE Ethanol Facility is a “state of the art – next generation” Dry Mill ethanol plant 50.3 MGY (190 MLY) ethanol production facility based on utilization of barley and peas as the feedstock and a 55.8 MGY (211 MLY) ethanol production facility based on utilization of barley only as the feedstock. By utilizing the combination of barley and peas as the feedstock, the NESRE facility will produce a “value added”, high protein co-product equivalent in nutrient value to U.S. soymeal, which PGRE will market under the trade name Harvest Gold HyProtein Meal. The added income from the Harvest Gold HyProtein Meal offers a hedge against low ethanol pricing. The plant is designed to also operate using “barley only” feedstock during times of favorable ethanol pricing.
